Course description
The course starts with training on the features, commands and techniques for creating, editing and printing drawings with AutoCAD. Then take to the advanced features and professional methods to develop production drawings with higher efficiency and productivity. Hands-on exercises provided in a printed format throughout the course explore how to create 2D production drawings. Separate working drawings for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical streams are provided.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course the delegates will be able to:
- Navigate the AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT user interfaces.
- Use the fundamental features of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT.
- Use the precision drafting tools in AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT to develop accurate technical drawings.
- Present drawings in a detailed and visually impressive way.
- Use AutoCAD’s powerful tools and techniques for drawing, dimensioning, and printing 2D drawings.
- Reuse content that has been previously created, and extract information from existing drawings.
